An exceptional example of a tested 18ct gold antique sapphire cluster pendant with a distinctive grapevine motif.

The design features clusters of round sapphires resembling grapes and highly detailed gold leaves and vines. It is typical of the Victorian era's "Archaeological Revival" style, which was popular around the 1860s-1880s.

  • Design: The pendant displays intricate craftsmanship with a naturalistic grapevine theme, which often symbolises fertility, prosperity, and rebirth. The central large cushion-shaped sapphire is surrounded by a halo of blue sapphires, further embellished by smaller sapphire "grape" clusters and detailed gold leaves.
  • Era: Based on the style, it likely dates from the late Victorian to early Edwardian period (circa 1880-1900s).
